An ex shared two photos of Dave – one from 2022, in which he looks very fat – and another from his appearance at TIFF in 2024, in which he looks very thin, wearing a pearl necklace and dark sunglasses. The caption reads, “What happened to Dave Bautista?”

However, other users argued that Dave’s physical transformation is not only a result of his aging, but also a result of his change in profession. “What happened? He was a wrestler and now he’s an actor. Two different stages of his life and he’s acting like a boss,” one x user commented. “Batista is 55 years old. Everyone thinks he’ll get smaller. His muscles have slowly and naturally gotten smaller over the years,” another wrote.

“He is turning into a great actor who will let his work speak for itself. He doesn’t want to just wait around for action or shoot films, he wants to act. That’s his passion. He was a wrestler, he built his body just for that purpose and now, he has lost weight and built his body,” a third commented, while another added.

Dave Boutisa opens up about his weight loss

In A recent interview Dave talked about his weight loss with Chris Van Vliet. “I’m getting a lot leaner, this is probably the lightest I’ve been since I was 19,” Dave said. “The heaviest I’ve ever weighed was 370 pounds. When I started Deacons, I was about 325 pounds. During my wrestling career I was about 290 pounds. Now I weigh about 240 pounds. And I went to Knock at the Cabin about a year and a half ago, I weighed 315 pounds. And that’s where the nightmare started. Losing that weight, that was a challenge. Now I’m a lot more conscious of what I eat,” he added.
