Deepika Kakar wrote in her note: Deepika wrote, “As you are all aware of the last few weeks, it has become quite difficult for us … Walking to the hospital for pain in the upper area of my stomach … and then finding that it is a tennis ball-shaped tumor in the liver … and then to find out that the tumor is the tumor (cancer) of the second stage.

He said, “Our doctor asked us to travel again and when we met him, he asked us to scan CT and it was shown that Dipika has a tumor in his left lobe of his liver. It is large in size like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us.”
Deepika married her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim from Sasural Simar Ka in Bhopal on 22 February 2018. The couple was blessed with a son named Ruhan, who was born in 2023.
