New Delhi: Television actress Dipika Kakar is known for her role in the show Sasural Simar Ka, today Stage 2 will perform surgery for liver cancer.
Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim wrote a hearty note on Instagram yesterday, urged all fans to pray for her.
In an emotional note, Shoaib said, “Dippy surgery is going to be held tomorrow morning. It is going to be a long surgery. He needs all your prayers and the most power. Please keep it in your prayers.”
Star couple earlier revealed that doctors had found a tennis ball-shaped tumor in the actress’s liver during a series of medical tests.
Deepika’s surgery was delayed due to symptoms like viral infection and flu.
Shoaib and Deepika also opened how they are handling the situation with strength.
He revealed that surgery, which was determined for that week, was postponed as Dipika had not yet recovered from the flu.
Deepika also shared that doctors have assured her that she would recover after tumor surgery. She also mentioned that she is experiencing pain due to a stone in her gall bladder.
“As you all know, it has become quite difficult for us in the last few weeks … walking in the hospital for pain in the upper area of my stomach … and then finding that it is a tennis ball-shaped tumor in the liver, and then find out that the tumor is the tumor is a deadly (cancer) of the second phase … It is one of the most difficult times we have seen!” He wrote in his post.
