Deepika Padukone becomes the first Indian celebrity to voice Meta AI in India, US, UK and other countries

Mumbai Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has collaborated with Meta to become the new voice of its AI version in multiple countries.


Deepika shared a video on her Instagram handle, which shows the actress recording her voice in a studio for Meta AI.


Deepika said in the post, “Hi, I’m Deepika Padukone. I’m the new voice of Meta AI. So tap the ring and my voice will take over.”


Sharing the video, the ‘Piku’ actress wrote, “Okay, I think it’s great! I’m now part of Meta AI and you can chat in English with my voice in India, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.”

Recently, Deepika Padukone, who is also the founder of The Live Love Laugh (LLL) Foundation, has been appointed as the first Mental Health Ambassador by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

The announcement was made on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, marking an important step in India’s ongoing efforts to prioritize mental well-being as a key component of public health.


Expressing her gratitude to the government for entrusting her with this important role in advocating mental health awareness, Deepika wrote on Instagram, “On World Mental Health Day, I am extremely honored to be appointed as the first Mental Health Ambassador of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.”


He also emphasized how, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has “taken meaningful steps to put mental health at the center of public health.”

Through my travels over the last decade and the work I have done at @tlllfoundation, I have seen how much is possible when we come together to build a mentally healthy India. I am grateful to Mr. @jpnaddaofficial and @narendramodi for strengthening India’s mental health infrastructure. Looking forward to working under the guidance of @mohfwindia. Onward,” Deepika posted.


Padukone also shared a photo of her meeting with Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda and Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava.


On the work front, the actress has officially started shooting for ‘King’, which is her sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. Both were last seen together in ‘Jawaan’. It was directed by Atlee.
