Deepika Padukone, an active supporter of mental health awareness, reacted strongly to L&T Chairman SN Subramanian’s comment on making employees work on Sundays. Piku The actor called out the senior executive on his Instagram stories.
Sharing a screenshot of journalist Faye D’Souza’s report, Deepika wrote, ‘It is shocking to see people holding such senior positions giving such statements.’ Deepika added the hashtag ‘Mental Health Matters’.
After SN Subramanian’s remarks, which sparked a fierce debate on the internet on work-life balance and mental well-being, the infrastructure MNC came up with a clarification. Sharing a screenshot of the statement on Instagram, Deepika wrote, ‘And he made it even worse…’
