Deepika Padukone, who is going to be a mother, lit the lamp Kalki 2898 – A.D. At the event, Deepika Padukone revealed that Prabhas feeds everyone on the set “from his heart” and they wait to see what Prabhas will bring. A video from the event has already gone viral. Pointing to her baby bump, Deepika Padukone said, “Actually, I am like this because he (Prabhas) has fed me a lot of food.” When asked who brings the best food on the set, Deepika said, “Everyday Prabhas brings food. And it’s like having food from home, there was a full catering service… The best part of the day was what Prabhas was feeding everyone… and those who know him well know that he feeds from his heart.” Sharing the video on X, a fan wrote, “I am loving this Prabhas-Deepika chemistry.” Watch the video here:

The teaser of the film was released at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) last year. Kalki 2898 – AD is directed by Nag Ashwin, best known for directing the National Award-winning 2018 biographical drama Mahanati. The film marks the first collaborative project of Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, while the actress and Amitabh Bachchan have previously co-starred in the 2015 film Piku.
