New Delhi: The praise came in a video shared by Vyjayanthi Movies, in which Djordje Stojiljkovic discussed his experience working on the film with global superstars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Known for his visual storytelling, Djordje highlighted Deepika’s pivotal role in the film, and called her character Sumati aka Sum-80 as the standout amongst the ensemble cast.
Reflecting on their collaboration, Djordje Stojiljkovic highlighted Deepika’s professionalism and commitment on set, emphasising how her performance significantly enriched the film’s story. “Deepika… now I understand why they call her queen”, Djordje remarked, acknowledging the impact of her portrayal on the project. Director Nag Ashwin too had earlier praised Deepika’s contribution in “Kalki”, and emphasised the crucial role her character played in shaping the story. “If you remove her character, the story will not survive. There is no Kalki”, he said, highlighting the importance of Deepika’s presence in the film’s narrative.
