New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta reached the premiere of ‘Tanvi the Great’ directed by Anupam Kher in the national capital on Sunday.
The makers of ‘Tanvi The Great’ organized the film’s screening at PVR Plaza, which was attended by the first lead actress Shubangi Dutt and director Anupam Kher.
Shubhangi and Anupam warmly welcomed the Delhi CM with a bouquet for the film’s exclusive screening. The film is slapped to hit theaters on July 18, 2025.
After a brief chat, Anupam, Shubangi and CM Rekha Gupta posed for a picture near the ‘Tanvi the Great’ poster to indicate their travel and the purpose of the event.
The ‘Summary’ actor expressed his happiness and twisted his hands in gratitude for the arrival of CM Rekha Gupta for the premiere of his film ‘Tanvi The Great’.
On Friday, President Draupadi Murmu also attended the film’s screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Center ahead of the official release of the film.
Artists attended the screening, including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Karan Taker and Debutant Shubangi.
Calling it a “emotional” moment, Kher said to Annie, “I am very emotional because the President has seen our film. The tagline of our film is ‘different but not less’ … I want to thank my President. When I looked at her after the film, I saw that she was standing and appreciated.”
He also took in his Instagram handle and wrote, “Honorable India President #Tanvithegreat: It was a final moment of pride for the President and the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces for us. The symbol of our film’s tagline is:” Different but less. ”

‘Tanvi the Great’, which exposes autism and the Indian Army, has already received international praise during his festival in ear, New York, Houston and London.
It has also received standing ovation in special preview held in the National Defense Academy and Pune in the Southern Command.
The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swamy, Karan Taker, Nasar and British actor Ian Glenn.
NFDC, along with Tanvi The Great, will be distributed globally by Excel Entertainment, led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, built by Anupam Kher Studio, and AA Films led by Anil Thadani.
