Diljit Dosanjhe swaps his general attraction for a trench coat and magnifying glass in the trailer of ‘Detective Sherdil’, which premiered on Tuesday. The first provides a refreshing mixture of film, suspense, dark comedy and unexpected turn starring director Ravi Chhabari, with Diljit played a bizarre, sharp-spy detective contrary to any role played earlier.

The story comes out in Budapest, where billionaire industrialist Pankaj Bhatti was played by Irani-a stage for a vodunate filled with suspense. Initially a hatred seems to be a crime, quickly exposed in a mercury story of family secrets, financial conspiracy, and burial betrayal.
Diljit Dosanjh, title detective Sherdil, plays the role of an offbeat but razor-sharp investigator, joining the army with a quiet and clever counterpart Natasha (Diana Penty) to crack the case.
The trailer tease a stylish and unconventional detective thriller, which is provoked by the fresh screen appearance of Diljit and a script that bends in sarcasm and unpredictor. With his signature nature, Diljit appears to be carrying forward the creative boundaries in a style that he has not done before.

Written by Sagar Bajaj, Ravi Chhabaria, and Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Detective Sherdil’ marked the second cooperation between Diljit and Zafar, after his seriously praised drama ‘Jogi’.
