Mumbai: Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her husband Shanwaz Shaikh welcomed their first child, a son, on December 18.
Announcing the same on social media, the actress shared an adorable post which read, “Thrilled to announce the arrival of our bundle of joy, our baby on 18.12.2024. Excited parents, Devoleena and Shanwaz.” The caption of the post reads, “Hello World! Our little angel boy is here 18.12.2024.”

After Devoleena’s announcement, congratulations poured in from her friends and colleagues. Celebrities like Aarti Singh, Paras Chhabra, Rajiv Adatiya and Kajal Pisal wished the couple. Actress Supriya Shukla wrote, “Congratulations to both of you…love the little one,” while Jayati Bhatia penned a heartfelt comment in Bengali, saying, “Onek ashirwad o adore” (Lots of blessings and love).

For those unaware, Devoleena married her gym trainer Shanawaz in December 2022. The couple opted for an intimate court wedding in Lonavala, which was attended by only their close friends.
In August 2024, Devoleena shared the good news of her pregnancy. She marked the occasion with a creative post featuring a white T-shirt that read, “Now you can stop asking,” adorned with children’s footprints. In the pictures, she posed with Shanwaz and his pet dog, spreading happiness.
