Hit Combo is officially back! Master filmmaker Vetri Maran had earlier announced his next project after Suriya vadivasalWill be with Dhanush. The project, the combo’s fifth collaboration, is to be financed by RS Infotainment, the same banner that financed Vetris. viduthalai Movies.
The news was announced by the banner on Monday (January 13), the 25th day of its release Viduthalai: Part 2.
Details regarding the setting, cast, and crew of the new film are unknown. It is also unknown whether the upcoming film will be a standalone project, or a sequel to the highly anticipated Vada Chennai,
Notably, Vetri had revealed this news during the audio launch of Dhanush in 2022 Tiruchitrambalam.Dhanush and Vetri had earlier joined hands for this Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Vada ChennaiAnd asuranDhanush won the National Award for Best Actor for his performance Aadukalam And Asuran,
Meanwhile, Vetri Maran, whose Viduthalai: Part 2 The Suriya starrer is all set to begin production of his upcoming film, slated to release in December 2024. vadivasalBased on a novel by CS Chellappa, the film revolves around Jallikattu, a traditional event that takes place as part of the Pongal festival in Tamil Nadu.
While GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for this project, R Velraj handles the camera. The film is produced by Kalaipuli Thanu under his V Creations banner.
Dhanush, last seen in Ryan, has Shekhar Kammula KuberWhich also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akkineni Nagarjuna. Idli KadhaiCo-starring Nithya Menen, and an untitled film with Rajkumar Periyasamy Amaran Fame in the pipeline.
