Six decade long illustrious career
Dharmendra’s cinematic journey started in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere. Spanning more than six decades, he acted in more than 300 films, spanning romance, drama, action and comedy. His title as the “He-Man” of Bollywood came about due to his famous action roles, although he was equally appreciated for his romantic and emotional performances.
In recent years, Dharmendra continued to enthrall audiences with memorable performances in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (2023) and Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024). His lasting influence remains a source of inspiration for countless artists.
