Dhurandhar: The Story
Dhurandhar begins with the Kandahar hijacking of 1999, where India’s IB chief Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan) is determined to mount a strong response – but government compulsions stop him. Within the gang, Hamza Jameel meets Yelina (Sara Arjun), daughter of Yamali (Rakesh Bedi). He takes advantage of her feelings to further his mission. During one of his assignments, Hamza goes to meet ISI Chief Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) along with Rehman. Before his eyes, Iqbal commits the 26/11 attacks – an event that shakes Hamza.
Meanwhile, for political gain, Jameel joins hands with Yamali SP Chowdhury Aslam (Sanjay Dutt), and assigns him the task of eliminating Rahman dacoit.
