Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja shares the truth! She said, “No one listens to Govinda’s advice because it is stuck in the 90s. I give advice suited for 2024. We keep telling Govinda to move beyond the 90s.”
Sunita Ahuja recently appeared on YouTube channel Hindi Rush, where she talked about Govinda, his way of life and her famous collaboration with director David Dhawan.
Talking about the breakup of Govinda’s partnership with David Dhawan after doing 18 blockbuster films together, Sunita said, “At that time, actors used to have a lot of ‘chamchas’, and they used to create misunderstandings. David and People were jealous after seeing Govinda’s partnership.” When you surround yourself with negative people, you are bound to absorb their negativity.”
Sunita defended the filmmaker in the Govinda-David Dhawan controversy, saying that her advice to Govinda was not from the wrong place and she had only told her superstar husband to adapt to the changing times.
He revealed, “David didn’t say anything wrong. He said solo-hero films used to work in the 90s, but not anymore. Today they are rarely successful.”
Elaborating further on David Dhawan’s advice, Sunita explained, “David suggested that Govinda play second lead roles, but not unimportant ones. Ultimately, he did play second lead roles. big mian small mianAnd that wasn’t a bad choice.”
But he also blamed the people around him for the actor’s downfall.
“People around Govinda used to provoke him, say, ‘You are a hero.’ I am angry to see how these things happened. People in Govinda’s circle were not good, they instigated him against this.”
In the same podcast, Sunita also talked about the failed career of her daughter Tina Ahuja and blamed Govinda’s image for it.
Sunita said, “Everyone has created a fear that if Tina works, Govinda will come on the sets and abuse because he is a strict father. I don’t understand why people create such myths.”
