Did Shahrukh Khan slap Honey Singh? The rapper finally broke his silence

In his recently released documentary, rapper Honey Singh addressed the rumors of him being slapped by Shah Rukh Khan during his tour in the United States, which led to him needing stitches in his head. So, are the rumors true?

Honey shared that after making the blockbuster lungi dance For Shahrukh’s film Chennai ExpressThe actor invited him on a tour with him. Even though Honey had a lot of work to do, he agreed to the proposal.

One evening during the tour, the rapper shared that he was in no condition to perform, but was being forced to anyway.

“When they took me to Chicago for the show, I said, ‘I don’t want to perform’. I was sure I was going to die during that show. Everyone told me I should get ready, but I refused. Did it. My manager came and said, ‘Why aren’t you getting ready?’ I said, ‘I’m not going,'” he shared.

To get rid of the exposure he shaved his head.

“I went to the washroom, took the trimmer and I cut my hair. I said, ‘How am I going to do this now?’ They said, ‘Wear the hat and perform,'” he shared.

So when shaving his head didn’t work, he broke a cup on his head. The rapper clarified that the injuries and stitches were not caused by Shahrukh’s slap, but by him.

He said, “There was a coffee mug lying there. I picked it up and hit it on my head.”

Honey said, “Someone spread a rumor that Shahrukh Khan slapped me. That man loves me, he would never lay a hand on me.”

In the documentary, Honey’s sister told that after this incident they decided that Honey should be brought back to India without any delay.

She said, “I was in my room. He messaged that something was wrong with me. He asked if you could come on Skype. And then he said, ‘please save me, doll please save me‘ (Please save me, my doll). And then he hung up.”

The title of the documentary is Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous Explores different time periods of the rapper’s life. It is now streaming on Netflix.
