New Delhi: Rishab Shetty is making waves in the film industry with his brilliant acting and the recent acclaim he received for the film ‘Kantara’ has added to his list of achievements. Shetty’s role in ‘Kantara’ earned him the prestigious National Award for Best Actor at the 70th National Film Awards, which honours his exceptional contribution to cinema.
However, ‘Kantara’ is not the only film that has given Shetty national recognition. In 2018, his socio-political comedy-drama ‘Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shale, Kasargodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai’ also won a National Award.
Produced, written and directed by Shetty, the film was awarded the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film at the 66th National Film Awards.
Beyond his award-winning roles, he continues to captivate audiences with his creative endeavours. Currently, Shetty is gearing up for the much-awaited release of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, which promises a unique cinematic experience. Additionally, he is in discussions with renowned Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker for a possible future collaboration.
