Do you know about Angelina Jolie’s hitman saga? The Hollywood actress once made the shocking revelation that she had hired a hitman to plan her murder when she was battling suicidal thoughts.
The 49-year-old Oscar winner, who is currently going through a contentious divorce with Brad Pitt, 60, first revealed in 2001 that she had a conversation with a hitman when she was 22.
“This is going to sound crazy, but there was a time when I was going to hire someone to murder me,” she told IMDb.
According to her, she felt that her loved ones would have found it easier to cope with her death if she had been killed instead of taking her own life.
In another interview with The Face in 2003, she claimed that it is not that difficult to find a hitman in New York. As strange as it may sound, Jolie said that she believes many young people contemplate suicide.
“I was very aware that if I had taken my own life then a lot of people around me, like my mother, would feel like they hadn’t given enough or done enough. So my solution was that if someone else took my life — like in ‘Daakiti’ — it would be murder and it wouldn’t be like someone would feel like they had let me down,” he said.
Hitman gave a befitting reply to Jolie
However, the hitman gave the actress an unexpected reply, asking if she could think about it and call him back in two months. Following this, she said: “Something changed in my life and I thought I would continue with it.”
Recalling her dark days, Jolie told 60 Minutes in 2011, “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are a lot of artists and people who don’t survive certain circumstances.”
“I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous thing and I did the worst thing,” he said.

Pitt and Jolie’s marriage broke up
