Mumbai: The controversy around Diljit Dosanj and his upcoming film is catching fire at a fast pace. After beating the actor-singer, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has now demanded immediate suspension of all his social media accounts in India.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Aicwa has also sought to remove all its songs and films from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Jiosaavn & OTT platforms, permanent ban on its live concerts and public performances across India.
The association has also called for a complete investigation into the financing of ‘Sardar G3’, and is a nationwide ban on its release. He has also appealed to the President of CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) to reject the certification of all future films, including Diljit Dosanj and to boycott him completely from Indian cinema.
Earlier, Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, president of the All Indian Cine Workers Association, released a statement for the nationwide boycott of the film, and has also urged actors in India’s film industries not to engage with Diljit for any project for any project for any project, including a live event.
He said in a statement, “Despite knowing the recent cruel terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 innocent Indians were lost to Pakistani-proposed terrorists, Diljit Dosanz surprised to surprise a Pakistani artist for shocking.
