Diljit Dosanj was late in Met Gala. The BTS clip showed her to blame Shakira: “The zipper of her dress broke”

Diljit Dosanj scripted history as the first celebrity to run on a red carpet in Met Gala 2025 in Turban. A few days after the Gala incident, Diljit shared a BTS clip, which revealed what happened behind her grand dress-up. Diljit, one of the main attractions of the video, reveals that he was late as a zip of Shakira’s dress.

The video opens with Diljit’s meeting with Nepali-American fashion designer Prabal Gurung. Diljit is seen excited to see his dress, while he shows the audience as his looks of his look written on his cape.

Praising Diljit, Prabal says, “I love his work. He is one of the biggest Indian stars who are able to crossover without compromising in the western world.

Diljit says, “Our dress is going to be the best.” Later in the clip, Diljit was seen sweating in the gym. He also shows the “11:11” symbol on his phone on camera.

At one point, Diljit Dosanj is seen entering a room, where other celebrities such as Nicole Sherzinger and Teesa Thompson are getting their photoshoots.

Nicole also praised Diljit on his look.

Later, Diljit revealed that Shakira made everyone late because the zipper of her dress broke. He said, “They are not taking us to the main area, all action is taking place in the backstage. I think Shakira’s dress is broken, that’s why we are late. I knew that we would be late due to Shakira.”

On the occasion of Met Gala, Diljit Dosanj had an explosion with Shakira and other international personalities.
