Diljit Dosanjh ‘likes’ a video of trolls trolling him over expensive concert tickets: ‘You didn’t get it’

Many fans were unable to buy tickets for the India leg of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ as the tickets were sold out within minutes. A section of social media users also pointed out the high price of the tickets. Now, comedian and social media influencer Saloni Gaur has posted a video to tease those who were talking about the expensive tickets of the concert. Saloni trolled those who talked about expensive tickets

The clip saw Saloni in a dual role, one person who supports the concert-goers and the other who pretends not to. Her conversation began with her advising “this generation” to “spend money wisely”. The comedian then spoke about how this generation is buying expensive tickets One has to spend 10 thousand rupees to see a person singing. He said in Hindi, “Even if you get a ticket, your seat will be in a place from where he will look like an ant.”

Saloni then suggested that fans should buy the £150 shoes instead of buying concert tickets. One can go to 10k and anywhere but cannot go to a show. He said that a person can sit at home and listen to music on his phone where he is allowed to take “outside food and water”, this is a dig at the concerts where there are many restrictions. He then added that going to a concert has its own disadvantages and hence it is better to avoid it.

Reacting to this, another Saloni who was supporting the concert-goers asked him, “You didn’t get tickets naa. Sold out naa.” He replied, “No it’s not like that. Mil jata mujhe, but I didn’t try.” Even after being asked multiple times, he said he is not interested in the show.

When the pro-concert Saloni announced that she had extra tickets for someone who wanted to go, the other Saloni yelled, “What?!” The video ended with Saloni smiling and wiping her eyes while Hardy Sandhu’s Joker played in the background. She shared the post with the caption, “Itna bhi kuch miss nahi ho jayega (I won’t miss much) (smiling with a tear emoji).” Reacting to the post, Diljit ‘liked’ it.

About Diljit’s tour

The Dil-Luminati India Tour will begin with Dosanjh’s performance in New Delhi on October 26, followed by performances in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata and other cities. It will conclude with a show in Guwahati on December 29. Ticket prices start at Rs 150. 1499 and reached 20,000-25,000.
