Diljit Dosanjh stops Germany concert to pay tribute to Ratan Tata on stage: ‘Beadag Apni Zindagi Ke Gaye’ Watch

Former chairman of Tata Group Ratan Tata died on Wednesday night. Many celebs from Bollywood and film industry paid tribute to him on social media.

Diljit Dosanjh is currently in Europe amid his Dil-Luminati World Tour. The singer, who recently performed in the UK, is now in Germany, where he was performing on Tuesday night, following the death of Indian industrialist Ratan Tata. In a heartwarming gesture, Diljit stopped his concert and paid tribute to the industry legend. A video of him talking about Tata from the stage has now gone viral.

A video of Diljit stopping the song on stage to talk about the life and death of Ratan Tata has been widely shared on social media. In the video, the singer addresses the crowd in Punjabi and Hindi, saying, “You all know Ratan Tata. He passed away and I pay tribute to him. I felt it important to take his name today because he worked hard all his life. ” Whatever I read or heard about him, I remember that he always worked hard, did good deeds and helped people.

Talking about the lessons from the life of late Ratan Tata, Diljit says, “This is life (this is life). If we can learn anything from his life, it is that we should work hard, think good, help others. Beadag apni zindagi ke gaye woh (He lived his life without any flaw).”

Diljit has been on tour and performing in America and Europe for the past several weeks. He will soon bring his Dil-Luminati Tour to India, starting with two back-to-back shows in Delhi on October 26-27. The singer is then set to perform in half a dozen Indian cities throughout December.

Ratan Tata, who was the chairman of Tata Group for more than two decades, breathed his last at 11.30 pm on Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai. Tata, who was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, was under intensive care in the hospital since Monday.
