Diljit taught Jimmy Punjabi
The video began with Jimmy Fallon and Diljit greeting each other with a hug. The clip read, “Learning to speak Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh.” Diljit was the first to say, “The Punjabis have arrived.” Jimmy also repeated the same words.
The singer further folded his hands and said, “Sat Shri Akaal!” This is the greeting in Punjabi. Jimmy followed Diljit, who said, “Wow.” For the show, Diljit will be seen in traditional attire – white kurta pyjama, matching turban and black half jacket. The video was shared with the caption, “Sat Shri Akaal! @diljitdosanjh.” The two were seen laughing and hugging each other at the end of the video.

Recently, Diljit shared a video giving a glimpse from the sets of the show. On Instagram, he posted a video in which he was seen busy with his team while preparing for the show. He announced his presence in the show through a social media post. He shared a series of pictures and wrote in the caption, “Punjabi aa gayi oye. Iss hafte ki mehmaan.”
Diljit has a history of breaking records. In April, he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium during his Dil-Luminati tour. He shared photos of the sold-out concert on Instagram.
