Diljit Dosanjh’s FWICE Breeded for ‘Border 2’

New Delhi: Diljit Dosanjh will continue to be a part of the upcoming battle drama ‘Border 2’, despite that there was an uproar around her cooperation in ‘Sardar Ji 3’ with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), who had previously imposed a non-cooperative order on Diljit, has now temporarily canceled the ban, but only for this specific project.

FWIC President BN Tiwari today confirmed India’s development, stating that producer Bhushan Kumar personally appealed to the Federation to allow Dosanj to continue shooting for ‘Border 2’. “Yes, the ban for the project has been canceled,” Tiwari said, shows that the actor has been given a green light for this one film.

However, relief is far from permanent. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit, who is associated with FWIC, clarified that non-cooperatives against Dosanj will be active for any future projects. He said, “So, we continue to have non-surrealism against Diljit. Any person who casts him should be ready for results. The federation will not be responsible for the financial loss that can follow,” he said.

Diljit’s on-set confirmation

The update came out shortly after when Diljit shared a rear view video from the film’s set on Instagram and took it on Instagram to silence his rumors of his replacement in ‘Border 2’. In the video, the singer-actor is seen getting out of his vanity van and moving towards the set for preparation for a dance sequence. Giving it only “Border 2” caption, the post served as a strong sign that it is a lot of artists.

The controversy rose when Diljit acted with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in ‘Sardar Ji 3’, which was released internationally on 27 June, but left a domestic release in India. Baikalash recently intensified after across the border tension, especially on 22 April Pahgam terrorist attack and post -India Operation Sindoor May.

FWICE had earlier sent a letter to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah, urging them to cancel the permission given to the ‘Border 2’ production team for shooting at the National Defense Academy (NDA) in Pune. Despite this, the production of the film continues in full swing.
