‘Dilruba’ Movie Review: Kiran Abbavaram’s film is more confused than Hardik

DilrubaRomance-action drama starring Kiran Abbavaram, Rukhr Dhilan and Catherine Davisson has a quite complicated base. To modify for a misunderstanding from the past, a former returns to his ex -lover’s turf and helps him to reconcile with a current lover. Nevertheless, Debut director Vishwava Karun’s film struggles to develop this idea in a harmonious story and fills it with subplots that feel unnecessary, in styles, feeling unnecessary.

The film opens with a pomp, which reduces the character of the hero Siddu (Kiran Abbavaram) – ‘strong men have a character, sometimes a attitude’. Siddu is a fundamentalist good hero who will be found in a Telugu film. After being dumped by his childhood girlfriend Meghna (Catherine Davison), he leaves his graduation after a misunderstanding. Siddu is the same man who abusively tells Anjali that he will ‘eat her’ and later asks him to stand between a group of sex workers on a road to prove her love for her! He has issues of anger, but claims that he is a lover. By romanticing such toxic symptoms, Anjali named her ‘villain’ and gave her a bike gift, inscribed on her.

Another problematic sequence indicates the tone-deaf approach of the storyteller. To prevent Siddu’s arrest, Anjali admitted to a policeman almost tampering with Vicky and how Siddu saved her. ‘Pravesh’ is called a sacrifice – that he discussed an attack on his dignity in a public place to save her lover.

When Vicky and Siddu falls out of the tiff ratio between balloons, a drug Lord, clown, enters the field. Most of the views in the first hour are written unclear and relaxed; They do not carry out the story and have no entertainment value. The director is desperate to pander at the box office that he churns a mission of action, humor and romance. A simple Rome-Com turns into a bot-up action saga.

Dilruba The problem is the lack of its attention and purpose. The characters are not strong and weakened, bloated screenplay does not help. The subplot involving drugs Lord and Vicky is exaggerated for incredible proportion, and the film’s main idea (pre -help Siddu and Anjali Reunion) takes a backseat. The climax, which raises the facial wars of the royalseema, adds to the chaos.

Kiran Abbavaram, who learned from his mistakes with his previous release MalevolentDisappointingly loses the track again. Dilruba There is a reminder that he still has to develop in an all-round entertainer. A competent stance decreases in a decorative character without a distinct identity.

Catherine Davisson as the east of Siddu gets a more interesting role in a romantic triangle, but his character lacks depth. The comic timing of Satya is no fruit this time. Many experienced actors, including Adakalem Naren, Thulasi and Anand are ruined. This is tired to watch John Vijay to watch the film over-the-top, eccentric villain.

Sam CS albums have some attractive tracks, although the score is everywhere. In a way, it reflects the disturbances of the film. Vishwas Daniel’s cinematography, while not spectacular, is one of the better contribution of the technical crew and holds the beautiful places of Mangaluru in a new light. Some action scenes have interesting concepts, but lack of good references.

Dilruba Its chaotic script and an insensitive treatment of a properly good idea is a forgetful action-romance.
