New Delhi: Versatile Bollywood comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, which features star-stood artists of 36 big names including Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Raveena Tandon, hit a major road. While fans expected Christmas 2024 release, the film’s new release date is no longer clear.
Director Ahmed Khan, who reduced the third installment of the beloved welcome franchise, recently addressed the discussion around the film’s delay. In an interview with the Bollywood Hungama, he rubbed the rumors that production was suggested that financial issues or actors had stopped due to unpaid arrears.
“I have no idea about the financial side of things. It is fully handled by the manufacturer, Feroz Nadidwala,” Ahmed Khan clarified, removing himself from the monetary aspects of the project.

According to him, the real criminal behind the delay is logistics, especially the difficulty of management of such a large -scale contingent and a recent decline of a planned shooting schedule.
Ahmed Khan said that about 70 percent of the film has already been shot, in which two schedules have been completed. The final and most important phase was to be shot in Kashmir in June this. But those plans were abolished after a tragic incident in Pahalgam, forcing the team to re -function their location strategy from scratch.
“Our third and most widespread program was to be held in Kashmir in June, and it would have come close to wrapping the film. But after the tragedy in Pahgam, it was no longer feasible. We had to scrape the plan completely,” Khan revealed.
Now, producers are considering options such as Kullu and other parts of Himachal Pradesh. But with the program of 36 actors to coordinate, the process has slowed down laborly.
In ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever and Rajpal Yadav also promise to be a screen hit once among others, promising a laughter riot. But for now, fans will have to wait a while to come to the forefront of the forest madness.
