Tamil filmmaker Leena Manimekalai has created her own Video on Demand (VoD) channel. Interested viewers can rent her films by logging on to her website leenamanimekalai.vhx.tv/products.
Leena has prepared a set of films directed by her. This set of films includes Madathi-An Unfairy Tale, Kaali, Sengadal, Is it too much to ask, Song of Resistance, Devi, White Van Stories, And Pennadi.

for your movie Black, Leena faced a legal hassle. The filmmaker was summoned by the Delhi High Court in a civil suit filed against her and her company Touring Talkies Media Pvt Ltd. The suit was filed over the film’s poster, which depicted a Hindu goddess in a “very inappropriate manner”.
Amid the controversy, the director said that “she will continue to speak without fear”. Meanwhile, Leena’s MadathiIt was a critically acclaimed film which showcased the oppression faced by women.
