Director Sophia Kopola hates violent films, appreciates old cowboy films

Washington: In an era of action cinema, Sophia Copola, director of ‘Lost in Translation’, says that she does not like to watch “Overdone” violent films as it is quite “upset” for him, the variety said.
Speaking at a masterclass at the ‘Novels Vagas Festival’ Novels’ Novels Vagas Festival, as quoted by Variety, Kopola spoke about the lack of intimacy for action cinema. He said that his birthplace “upset” violence in cinema due to gun violence in the US.
