New Delhi: Director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoscar shared his work experience with actor Emraan Hashmi and why he decided to put him in ‘Ground Zero’.
In a conversation with Annie, he shared that his first choice was Imran, “When you start writing the script, you start looking at the actor as well. And the reason is that Imran may be an option because he brings to a certain level of innovation because he does not play a role in uniform.
The film, established in Kashmir in the early 2000s, follows a brave mission under the leadership of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dubey, who played an important role in ending the terrorist mastermind “Ghazi Baba”.
In the film, Emraan Hashmi will portray the role of a BSF commandant, Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. Sai Tamhakar will portray the officer’s wife’s role.
A special screening of Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’ was hosted for BSF Jawans in Srinagar on Friday.
Sharing his shooting experience in Srinagar, he said, “It was fantastic because it was like coming in the full cycle. We started the film. We launched the story. It is based out of Srinagar, so it was right only to go back to the end and it was shown with the Sharinagar public. It was not an ease of shooting the film in Srinagar, so it was not a problematic scene.”
He also talked about the challenges of dealing with the subject, “When it comes to a real story, of course, we need to have a sense of fact that there is a person who has some image, and we cannot go beyond some limitations. So even if you are taking freedom for creative objectives, this is a few types of restrictions, and of course, I also honor this thing, but I have also respected it it was exciting. ”
The film director participated in a special screening of the film in the capital. Apart from Emraan Hashmi and the film’s team, the screening was attended by BSF Jawans and eminent politicians.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, who watched the film at the screening, shared his experience, saying, “This is a very good film and works very well that BSF people have done to eliminate terrorism in Kashmir. My greetings to all filmmakers.”
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and directed by Tejas Deoosar, the film Qasim Jagamagiya, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C. Siddhwani, Arhan Bagti, Taliman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy are co-built.
