Mumbai/New Delhi: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday heard the writ petition filed by the father of former celebrity manager, late Disha Salian in the case related to his death.
The writ petition was filed by Salian’s father Satish Salian, who is demanding a new investigation in the death of his daughter and interrogation of some powerful people.
In the petition, he claimed that Disha was raped and murdered. Interestingly, Satish Salian stressed five years ago that his daughter was not raped and murdered.
When the media questioned this, Satish Salian’s lawyer Nilesh Ojha said that “the distraught father was manipulated by some political leaders and police who wanted to mold the son of a prominent politician.”
Nilesh Ojha filed a fresh cedar in the case of Disha’s death on 25 March.
Ojha said that a written complaint has been filed with the Commissioner of Police and in the FIR, the names of Aditya Thackeray, Dino Moriya and Suraj Pancholi have been mentioned.
According to Ojha, “Aditya Thackeray, Dino Moriya, Suraj Pancholi and his bodyguard, Parberir Singh, Sachin Wage and Riya Chakraborty are all accused in the codar.”
He claimed that Parambir Singh was the main mastermind for the cover up in the case.
Ojha said, “Parambir Singh held a press conference and lying to save Aditya Thackeray said. NCB investigation proves that Aditya Thackeray was involved in a drug business and it is also mentioned in the FIR.”
Ojha said that some senior police officers were also involved in the conspiracy as they misused police and government machinery, made false police records, suppressed witnesses and tried to hide criminal evidence.
“It is my honest request that all these acts should immediately be prosecuted under sections 376 (D), 302, 409, 120 (B), 107, 109, 166, 167 and other applicable sections of IPC and strict action and strict action will be taken against the accused.”
Earlier, the CBI filed a closure report in Disha Salian’s case, stating that his death was a suicide, not murder.
In the investigation, no evidence was found by linking his death to Sushant Singh Rajput. The report states that personal and business stress, including financial issues and his father’s alleged relationship, may have contributed to his mental crisis.
Despite the principles of conspiracy, the CBI confirmed that there was no dishonesty.
However, a new petition has been filed challenging the findings.
