Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey enjoyed a weekend in New York City over the past few days, part of which also saw the singer return to the US Open after 22 years.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have never shied away from showing up for or with each other. Shortly after Taylor set fashion goals with a denim-on-denim Southern ensemble for her boyfriend’s Missouri game, the two planned a very busy weekend in the city that never sleeps. Taylor and Travis kicked off their little 3-day trip with a pizza date in Brooklyn. Taylor and Travis even became wedding guests for model and singer Karen Elson’s Manhattan wedding the very next day. However, the best moment of the weekend was Taylor returning to the US Open after 22 years!
it’s been a long time coming
Taylor’s appearance in the US Open final was a homecoming of sorts, and not without reason. The last time Taylor (known) appeared at the US Open was in 2002, when she was 12, about to turn 13. At the time, she was an aspiring singer, and she had gotten the chance to sing. beautiful america Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, where the US Open is held.
22 years later, the now globally renowned pop icon made her way to a suite box to experience the ultimate summer experience, hand in hand with her boyfriend Travis. Dressed in a plaid skater dress, Taylor looked like she was chasing the last highs of summer before welcoming fall. The courtside afternoon turned out to be a lot of fun for Taylor and Travis, who were seen singing their hearts out I believe in a thing called love A song by The Darkness was playing on the stadium speakers.
A Busy New York Weekend
Ahead of the big US Open final, Taylor and Travis made sure they enjoyed their little weekend trip to the fullest. Their free time together started with a pizza date at Brooklyn’s Lucali Pizza on Henry Street. The two were greeted by a group of people standing in front, eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of the couple. While Travis maintained a cool vibe in his sweatshirt, Taylor was definitely ready for a date, in her transparent black top and matching mini skirt, blazer and boots.
The following day, the two headed to Manhattan to attend model and singer Karen Elson’s wedding to producer Lee Foster at Electric Lady Studios. Taylor stole the show, opting to wear a white (okay, fairly cream) Zimmerman cutout midi with a scalloped neckline and subtle floral embroidery. Travis, on the other hand, balanced out the white in his black-on-black look.
