Mumbai: Singer East Gill on Friday, made his much awaited start at the Cannes Film Festival this year, marking an important milestone in his journey as an artist. On the third day of the iconic event, the singer stepped on the red carpet, called the experience “real” and “dreaming”, as it brought the years of hard work, creativity and cultural expression together.
Sharing his experience, the singer shared, “The red carpet walking in the Cannes was real – it felt that it felt that there was a dream woven with years of music, culture and creativity. I wanted my look to reflect not only that I am not as an artist, but where I come from, I am also taking a beautiful experience.”
Aastha also took her amazing pictures on Instagram to share with the Star-Staded Red-Carpet event and captioned it, “I started my Cannes Film Festival, and today, I know the dreams are really true. Wale babu, “Kamariya” such as ‘Stri’ and “Naagin”, is known for its popular numbers.
She woke up for fame with her energetic contribution to the Bollywood Soundtrack, including “Dhoop Chiki” such as Fagli, “Abhi Toh Party Shoroo is” beautifully and chart-topping “DJ Velle Babu”. Beyond the film music, he has also released a wire of popular singles and collaborated with many artists in the music industry.
Talking about the ongoing ear 2025, a vibrant infusion of Indian glamor and cinematic pride was seen in three days of the prestigious festival. Veteran actor Anupam Kher made a memorable red-carpet appearance before the screening of his film ‘Tanvi The Great’, while ‘missing ladies’ star Nitanshi Goel and Chhaya Kadam attracted attention with their confidence and stylish appearance.
Meanwhile, a host of Indian film celebrities- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Neeraj Ghaywan, Vishal Jethwa, Ishan Khatar and Aditi Rao Hadri, are expected to participate in the 78th edition of the film festival. The festival is being held from 13 May to 24 May 2025 with a visible French Riviera.
