Veteran actor Simi Gerewal, is set to make his debut in the 2025 edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Aranyer Din Ratri.
Garewal, who played the role of a tribal Santhal girl named Duli in the Bengali film, will participate in the showcase which will be held on May 19 under the Cannes Classics section.
Actor, also known for films like Loan, Cleaned Cluses, And My name is JokerOn Monday, she shared a video on her Instagram handle in which she could be seen choosing her organization for the event.
The 77 -year -old Garewal will wear a cloth from Karlo, a catautor label installed by Karan Berry and Leon Waz.

Arner Deen Ratri The Film Heritage Foundation (FHF) has been presented and restored by the World Cinema Project of the Film Foundation at L’Magine Ritrovata in collaboration with Janus Films and Kasauti Collection. Funding was provided by the Golden Globe Foundation, in a press release issued by the festival organizers.

The premiere of “Arener Deen Ratri” will be presented by the famous Hollywood filmmaker Wes Anderson, who is a long fan of Ray.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to begin on Tuesday (May 13).
