For centuries, the social and political concept of the penis has been a matter of intense debate, shaping movements and rights worldwide. Based on this relevant issue, choreographers Chris Leyenberger and Marsel Shwald of Switzerland have launched an artistic journey, which delays the concepts of femininity, hyper-piminity and pupil through their documentary dance performances.
Their latest piece, EF_Femininity – Trio Edition, Supported by Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvatia,Demonstrations will be held across India across India in Bengaluru, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. In India, where there is a far-reaching history of gender identification beyond binary, they are in touch with Shiloka Mukkati, living smile, and Dia Naidu,-All the workers are fighting for the recognition of their own women.
However, who was considered a piece with four artists, will now be shown as living smile (also known as smiley) on video estimates for the performance of the trio version in India.

Marchel Shwald spoke to how he and Chris were always fascinated by the female penis, “we were inspired by women figures in our family, which we saw as a role model. Growing up, we enjoyed playing with dolls and dressing as girls. We were eager to make a piece on femininity because there was a lot of impact for us. ,
“Ever since we come together with the artists of Bangalore, we have come to this city a vibrant quir feminist culture, a natural step for us,” he said.
Artist Shiloka Mukkati shared her experiences working on this piece and ways she preferred to tell the audience. “We all have faced some levels of gender policing, whether in which part of the world. With this piece, we are providing a platform to unknown and re -prepare these traditional assumptions on the penis . “
“As artists, it is not all entertainment for us; It is also our responsibility to advocate many social and political issues that we pass by person, and how we can work on it, ”he said.
Since this piece was born in Switzerland, artist Diya Naidu spoke about adopting a drama for a big Indian audience keeping in mind his diverse socio-cultural context. “We had to change the original piece that we had performed several times before the Covid -19 epidemic to ensure that smiley could connect with us with Switzerland. Since we are performing in this part of the world, the experience of the audience is important for us. Both Chris and Marcel will raise a lot of questions through us, because they did not have local lenses that we have. ,
