Eighties re-enters the Billboard World Albums Chart; Stray Kids vacates the top spot for Le Seraphim. See the Top 15 Rankings

After a six-week reign at the top of Billboard’s World Albums chart, Stray Kids lost their top spot. According to the latest Billboard update after the week concluded on September 14, the JYP Entertainment boy group’s latest mini album, “ATE,” is now at the #2 spot in its seventh week on the top-charting roster.

For the week ending September 14, Stray Kids’ song ATE dropped to second place, giving way to Le Seraphim’s song Crazy to top the Billboard World Albums chart.

HYBE Labels’ LE SSERAFIM took over the dominating spot with their new mini album, “CRAZY,” debuting at #1. The K-pop girl group’s latest musical offering also became their third consecutive album to debut in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

KQ Entertainment’s ATEEZ was the only non-Big-4 group to make the top 15 roster this week. The eight-member boy band’s inclusion led to a special re-entry of its tenth mini-album, “Golden Hour: Part 1,” at #15, extending its 13th consecutive week of success.

Artists from HYBE labels (with a few exceptions) led the charts this week

All other music releases listed on the Top 15 World Albums chart came from some HYBE label artist. Trailing behind Stray Kids, BTS’s Jimin ranked third for his solo album “MUSE.” This was his seventh week on these rankings. Jimin’s “MUSE” also became his first solo album to stay on the Billboard 200 chart for seven weeks.

ENHYPEN’s “Romance: Untold,” released in July 2024, was at #4 in its eighth week. BTS’s incredible momentum on the World Albums chart continued in its 117th week, when the global sensation’s 2022 anthology album, “Proof,” reached #7.

Although primarily dominated by boy groups, the World Albums Chart made way for SM Entertainment’s aespa as the third girl group in the top 15, and it was all thanks to their first regular album, “Armageddon,” which landed at No. 9 in its 15th week.
