Trailer of Ekam, The Kannada web series produced by actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty’s production houses Paramavah Studios and Journeyman Productions has been released by the makers. The project, which began in 2020, will stream on Rakshith’s own platform www.ekamtheseries.com.
Produced by Sandeep P.S. and Sumanth Bhat, the web series is an anthology of seven stories and features popular actors like Prakash Raj and Raj B. Shetty. Ekam It will premiere on July 13.
“We have faced rejection on all OTT platforms because Ekam Sumanth Bhat had earlier said, “It is a Kannada show and they are not in the market for Kannada shows right now.” He added, “We will bring you the web series at the price of a movie ticket (one-time fee of Rs 149).”
Ekam It stars Shine Shetty, Manasi Sudheer, Prakash Thuminad, Shanil Guru, Mime Ramdas, Ujjwal UV, Pallavi Kodagu, Champa P Shetty, Babu Annur and Sanal Aman. Sumanth Bhat, Swaroop Elamon, Sanal Aman, Shankar Gangadharan and Vivek Vinod are the directors while the story is written by Satheeshan Puthumana, Satyajit Raut, Sumanth Bhat and Sashikanth Shetty.
The technical team of Ekam It features cinematographers GS Bhaskar ISC, Udit Khurana, Ankur C and U Ashwin, music directors Midhun Mukundan and Rahul Jigyasu and editor Bhuvanesh Manivannan.
