I’ve seen it before. I don’t know. Watching it with an audience is much more emotional than sitting with a bunch of people. I felt it more last night than the first time I saw it, and it affected me more.”

Eye infection is hampering his daily routine.

“What’s happened to my eye is very… just, it’s very upsetting because I’m used to getting up in the morning and looking at all the newspapers, looking at the charts, looking at everything, looking at what’s going on creatively in the world, and I’ve lost all of that at the moment. It’s been seven weeks since I’ve been able to see all of that, but the odds are good. I’ve had a very bad time,” the multiple award-winning musician said.

In his post shared on Instagram earlier this week, John had said that he is on the road to recovery but it will take some time to regain vision from the affected eye.

“Never Too Late” is scheduled to stream Dec. 13 on Disney.
