Actress Emma Roberts announced her engagement to Cody John through a social media post.
Emma Roberts will soon be seen in a white dress as she announced her engagement to actor Cody John on July 16. Roberts announced her engagement through an Instagram post with a photo of herself with John. The announcement has come as a surprise as the actor has always tried to keep a low profile about his romantic relationships. The couple is set to get married soon but there is no update about the wedding date or venue.

Emma Roberts is engaged
Roberts shared an excited photo of herself with her fiancé John on Instagram, in which she can be seen showing off the engagement ring on her finger. The post was captioned, “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” followed by a heart emoji. The caption was about an incident that happened with mother Kelly Cunningham earlier this year, as reported by People magazine.

In early February, Kelly shared a photo of Robert’s 3-year-old son, whom he shares with ex Garrett Hedlund, Rhodes, without consulting him first. Later, the American Horror Story star shared a Story in which he wrote, “When your mom posts your son’s face without asking but you love them both no matter what,” as he shared photos of Rhodes again.
Roberts and John, who is also an actor and has starred in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga and The CW’s In the Dark, have kept their love life mostly private.

The Maybe I Do star has always been private about her romantic relationships. However, in August 2022, John confirmed their relationship with a post on Instagram in which the two were seen kissing and the caption, “Sweet sweet.” Later that year, Roberts launched into her beau on Instagram with a photo of the two holding hands and the caption, “#2022 I love you. Happy New Year hotties!”
The couple was spotted kissing each other in New York City or holding hands in Los Angeles in the year 2023. It is not known how the two first met each other, but according to E! News, they were connected through mutual friends. Talking about their romantic life, a source told the media outlet, “She is very content with Cody and they are enjoying their relationship and time together. Their friends and family are happy for both of them and think they make a great couple.”
