Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’ cannot influence Neti, says that ‘Template is used by other films’

‘Ground Zero’ Twitter Review: On Friday (April 25), the much awaited historical thriller ‘Ground Zero’, starring Emraan Hashmi and Sai Tamhkar, hit theaters. The film’s depiction has already started online debate after the 2001 Parliament attack and India’s biggest anti -terrorism operation. Hashmi was shown as BSF officer Narendra Dubey, who performs operations to find and kill Ghazi Baba in Kashmir, the film is produced by Ritesh Siddhwani and is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoosar.

Initial audiences took the X (East Twitter) to express their views, with many acclaimed Emraan Hashmi’s commanding performance and fearless depiction of the actual events of the film. However, most people did not like the film and called it ‘dull and teduned’.

After the film’s first screening, a user wrote, “#GroundZero is another dud from @EXCelmovies. At a time when only the mindless mass masala in cinemas is working, there is an OTT film in which an faded star is trying to tell a logical story.”

Another reviewer said, “#Meraanhashmi tries to try a new area, but fails and with falling below, there is nothing else to keep the film standing. Since every template is used by other films, the film lacks novelty, and looks dull and tired.”

‘Ground Zero’ positive review

Meanwhile, a lot of people related to the film were because of how real it was and how heavy it was emotionally. Someone said, “Films like #GroundZero are not just stories with vigorous rhetoric; they bring very real sacrifice to our soldiers and citizens on screen.
