Emraan Hashmi’s much awaited “Ground Zero” became the first film in 38 years, to get a red carpet premiere in Srinagar, Kashmir.
With the premiere, the producers first wanted to show the film to Jewans and Army officials, who stood on the line of defense and ground to save us from the enemy. This step completely aligns with the theme of patriotic film.
“Ground Zero” will set up new benchmarks with its red carpet premiere in Srinagar on 18 April, as no other film has been premiered in Srinagar in the last 38 years, making the “Ground Zero” for the first time to take this pioneering step after so long.
“Ground Zero” is falling in love with the audience, and its trailer was also well received, leading the audience anticipation forward.
In addition, the film is located in Kashmir and has been completely shot in the region. Hashmi played the role of BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who led the operation to execute Ghazi Baba. The mission was recognized as the best operation of BSF in the last 50 years. “Ground Zero” tells the true story of this important yet low-term operation.
For Anward, Ghazi Baba was the top ranking commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Deputy Commander of Terrorist Group Harkat-ul-Einer. He is known for his mastery in the Indian Parliament attack on 13 December 2001.
Hashmi is accompanied by Sai Tamhakar, Zoya Hussain, Lalit Prabhakar, Mukesh Tiwari, Puneet Tiwari, Satya Prakash and Hanun Bawra with the lead actors of the play.
Excel Entertainment presents an Excel Entertainment Production, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Under the direction of Tejas Deoscar, the film is co-produced by Kasim Jagamagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundep C Siddhwani, Arhan Bagti, Tawiz Films, Abhishek Kumar and Nishikant Roy.
“Ground Zero” is set to hit theaters on 25 April 2025.
