Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi has fallen victim to a disturbing deepfake trend. The video, made without consent and viewed millions of times, sees Elordi’s face superimposed on the body of a minor actress from the OnlyFans platform. Now, the model whose body was used in the video has spoken out against the “creepy” trend. The incident highlights the growing misuse of deepfakes, most notably involving big celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson, Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion and others.
Jacob Elordi targeted in sexually explicit deepfake
The posts circulating on X (formerly Twitter) feature Elordi’s digitally distorted face superimposed on a man engaged in a sex act. One post involving a minor had more than 3 million views on Tuesday. The OnlyFans model, whose body was used in the video, addressed the issue on her social media platform and criticized those responsible.
The post was removed by X with the message “This post violated X’s rules.” Social media followers noticed that the man in the video was clearly not Elordi, as he did not have the unique birthmarks on his body that he usually has.

OnlyFans model speaks out
The 19-year-old Brazilian model claimed that the body in the video was from her childhood and called the footage terrifying. She said the video was recorded when she was underage and demanded that it be removed. In the post, she claimed, “This is actually my video.”
One social media user wrote, “Can you please stop spreading Jacob Elordi deepfakes around, this is disgusting.” Another added, “People sharing Jacob Elordi videos are no better than people sharing AI images of Taylor Swift. This is disgusting, no matter what gender it happens to.”

This is perhaps not the first time these celebrities have fallen victim to technological advancements that have led to people creating and misusing deepfakes. However, this incident has highlighted that the deepfake trend is targeting individuals of every gender.
