Excise officials say ‘Hybrid Ganja’ found in the possession of film directors received from supplier in Kerala

The suspected hybrid Ganja with whom Khalid Rahman and Ashraf Humsa, the director of the leading Malayalam film, were covered with a flat in Kochi, recently allegedly fragrant with a supplier in Kerala.

Mr. Rahman and Shri Humsa were arrested with 1.50 grams of suspected hybrid ganja, when they were reportedly to be used during the pre-don raid on Sunday (April 27, 2025). “It was Shahalif who reportedly bought a control from a supplier. We have a details about the supplier and trying to track him. His mobile phone is closed. More information about the drug source can only go into his custody,” said the excise sources said.

Excise officials have soon been prepared to issue notice to Mr. Thahir. If the investigating officer can be called forward to warrant any renewed warrant. Mr. Rahman is the director of films Alappuzha gymkhana, Thallumala And VulgarWhile Mr. Humsa directed Thamasha And Bhimante Vazi,

Since the quantity in his possession was small, the accused was released on bail. He allegedly claimed that he turned into an apartment to discuss a film. According to excise sources, the pair survived a mustache in a similar raid in the apartment in March.

Since then, the FEFKA directors have decided to suspend both directors.
