New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan brought life to the role of Chandu Champion. The actor nailed every frame and director Kabir Khan has once again proved that he is one of the finest filmmakers. It has been 9 days since the film’s release and thanks to the good response from the people, the film is running successfully at the box office and has earned around Rs 57 crore so far. But will Chandu Champion be able to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in its lifetime? Well, the answer is no!
In an exclusive interview with Zee News, Business Expert Rohit Jaiswal found out why Chandu Champion Despite the good buzz, Chandu Champion has done poorly. Rohit explains, “Chandu Champion is a great film, but this genre is sports and films of this genre are not doing well at the box office, and the best example of this is Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan. However, as per the predictions, Chandu Champion has still done well at the box office and it has a few more days left to do even better.”
The trade expert further added, “Chandu Champion has a few more days to earn till Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 A.D. releases. However, despite the film running in theatres, it will not be able to earn 100 crores because Kalki will dominate and only the overflow audience will go to watch Chandu Champion or Munjhiya. It is being said that the lifetime collection of Chandu Champion will be around 90 crores. But it will not be able to earn 100 crores.”
Trade expert Rohit Jaiswal also praised Kartik Aaryan’s acting skills, “Kartik has done a phenomenal job, I have said this before and even now, in the next year of awards 2024, Kartik and Ajay Devgn’s name will be attached to every Best Actor award.”
