In conversation zee news digital, Priyanka spoke openly about her journey ahead.
Q: How did you move from modelling to acting in ‘Kathakaar’?
One. The transition from modelling to acting in storytelling was a natural transition for me. Modelling gave me the opportunity to express myself in still frames, but acting offered a new challenge – bringing a character to life and telling a story through emotions and dialogues. Storytelling gave me a great opportunity to dive into a story that connected deeply with me, allowing me to explore a different aspect of creativity and connect with the audience on a more personal level.
Q: What was it like working on a film set?
One. Working on the sets of the film was a wonderful experience. Bringing each scene to life was truly a transformation. I became deeply attached to the character I played, and that attachment made the whole journey even more fulfilling. What made it even more special was the cast and crew- their positivity and support created an atmosphere that was both inspiring and empowering. It was a life-changing experience in every way.
Q: What changed for you after winning the Mrs India title?
One. After winning the title of Mrs India, the biggest change for me has been the immense love and warmth I have received from people all over the world. This outpouring of support and affection is truly incomparable. It is incredibly heartwarming to see how this title impacts so many people, and I feel so grateful for the connections I have made and the encouragement that inspires me every day.
Q: Are there any more acting offers coming in?
One. I have received a lot of really exciting offers. It has been amazing to see the opportunities that have come my way. However, I am considering each one carefully, as I want to make sure that every project I take up brings something new to my audience. A new video song that I have just finished shooting is about to release, and I am really excited for everyone to see it!
Q: Tell us about your experience as a jury member of Miss Universe?
One. My experience as a jury member for Miss Universe Tamil Nadu was truly unforgettable. It was both an honour and a privilege to be a part of a process that celebrated the strength, intelligence and beauty of these incredible women. It gave me a chance to see first-hand the dedication and hard work each contestant puts into this journey. The entire experience was incredibly enriching, and the love and warmth I received from everyone involved made it even more special.
