Mumbai: Gulshan Devaiah is one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood, he has come a long way. The actor will next be seen in Ulj opposite Janhvi Kapoor and this is the first time he is working with the star kid who is proving her mettle as an actor one screen at a time. Talking exclusively to Zee News about his off screen bonding with Ulj and Janhvi, Gulshan said that he has no relationship with Janhvi other than being professional.
In an interview, we asked him why he chose Uljh, he said, “I loved this project and I thought it would be a huge project for my career, so I did this project.”
Talking about Janhvi, when asked if the film has a bigger reach because of her, he said, “She is definitely a lot more famous and that is definitely a good advantage. Also Junglee Pictures is a big production so I know the reach will be good.”
We asked Gulshan about his ice breaking with Janhvi as the chemistry between the twins is being appreciated a lot by the fans, “There is no ice breaking, sometimes you don’t need to break the ice and just do your job, and that’s what professionals do. She is very reserved and I can’t be romantic towards her, she is completely professional and she does a great job. Also, she doesn’t have the responsibility to make me comfortable, we had the job of building chemistry and thankfully we did that. We didn’t connect too much and that’s okay”, concluded the actor.
Gulshan is happy with his journey so far and shares that his aim of becoming an actor has always been to entertain his audience and he is glad that he is on the right track.
