Mumbai: Stree 2 is one of the most awaited films right now. The first installment of Stree starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao was a massive hit and the excitement for the second installment is at its peak. The film will be releasing on Independence Day i.e. August 15, 2022, Zee News exclusively spoke to trade expert Rohit Jaiswal who revealed that the film will have an opening collection of around Rs 40 crore. He stressed, “According to paid reviews Stree 2 will have a collection of around 6-7 crores and it will earn around 33 to 35 crores on the day of release, so overall it will have an opening of 40 crores.”
Rohit further claimed, “The film is releasing on August 15 and there is a holiday weekend as well, then there is Rakshabandhan till August 19 and it will definitely earn Rs 120-150 crore in these four days.”
Rohit predicts that the film’s total collection will be Rs 300 crore, “Even if Stree 2 is an average film, it will make 300 crores because no other film is coming, the whole of September is almost empty and there are no big releases. If the film is average, it will do, just it shouldn’t be rubbish”.
Talking about the trailer and songs of Stree 2, it has created quite a stir and the excitement is definitely at its peak.
