Actor Varun Bhagat has worked in many series including Andekhi, Inside Edge, Aar Ya Paar, Udan Patola. Recently, the actor who played Lucky Paaji in Andekhi Season 3 has received a lot of praise for his acting. Talking to Zee News Digital, Varun Bhagat opened up about working with co-star Heli Daruwala, his on-set experiences and more.
Q: How did you approach the scenes where Lucky Paaji shows weakness and love?
One. It was a new dimension, especially the area of love, which I was exploring with Lucky and, it was very interesting for me to go there and see what happens to a guy who falls in love for the first time. So he doesn’t feel like he is feeling it for the first time. He doesn’t know how to react or what to do or what to say. So I really liked that side because a very innocent side of Lucky came out. In all that ruthlessness, a very innocent place came out. So it was great.
Q: Can you describe your experience working with Heli Daruwalla?
One. I had a great experience working with Haley. She was really fun and nice to work with and I think we managed to build a really good relationship.
Q: What was your reaction when you first read the script for Lucky Party’s Tragic Love Affair?
One. I honestly thought it was a beautifully tragic love story. Because of the job they are in and the work they do, it’s very difficult to maintain a love story if I do say so myself. And when I read it and I read how it happens, it felt so beautifully tragic, I was sad and excited at the same time.
Q: What feedback have you received from fans about Undekhi Season 3?
One. Oh my god. It’s so overwhelming. I have no words. I can’t even believe the amount of love and respect I’m getting from people. They’re the main people. We make the show for them. And it’s so overwhelming when you see it, because it’s a show scenario, they come and compliment you and talk about you and they make memes about you and make reels about your character and make animations about a character, it’s overwhelming. I never thought, you hope people will like it, but you never think that, okay, this is going to be liked by so many people. So I’m just, I’m so grateful. I’m so grateful.
Q: Can you share any memorable moment from the sets?
One. The whole show was memorable. Whenever I do Undekhi, it is always memorable. When I did Undekhi, I felt it was the best experience of my life. I did Undekhi 2, I said it was one of the best experiences of my life. I did Undekhi 3 and now I want to say again that it was one of the best experiences of my life.
Personally, professionally, I loved everything that I was feeling while doing that show, what I was experiencing while doing those scenes, and, I am so grateful to be working with that team, that director, that production house. With these amazing actors, I am just overwhelmed. I am so happy. Thank you.
