A legal expert provided insight into the escalating legal drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni after the actress filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director. The Gossip Girl alum alleged that Baldoni sexually harassed her during the filming of his project and subsequently launched a smear campaign against her. However, Baldoni and his public relations team have strongly denied all allegations and described them as false and defamatory.

Expert in Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni
Joseph Camerata, partner at Chaikin, Sherman, Camerata & Siegel, shared his thoughts with Mirror US about the lawsuit. “The complaint read very dramatically,” he said. “It reflects what Blake and other like-minded people had to endure from a man who, according to the complaint, claimed he was a supporter of women and women’s rights, and that people should not be victimized.”
He further said, “It is quite the opposite. It could be anything, like the Wild West and there’s no sheriff in town. In reality the sheriff is the kingpin. So you have no one to control the police. Camerata predicted, “This is a very powerful complaint against the defendant and will likely result in a victory for him.”
Lively also cited instances that included Baldoni “sucking her lips” and asking her to get naked during a birth scene.

Another case against Baldoni
Lively’s lawsuit isn’t the only case that Baldoni should be concerned about as his former publicist Stephanie Jones also recently sued him. Regarding the lawsuit, Camerata told the news outlet, “I think this only works to Ms. Lively’s benefit. Now you have found all the oppressors fighting among themselves.”
He added, “It’s really not a good sign for that group, that is, Mr. Baldoni, his studio, his PR people. This is not a good day for them.” The lawsuit accuses actor Lively of conspiring with her PR team to “bury” and “destroy” and blames her.
