Mumbai: Bigg Boss OTT 3 is all set to start streaming from June 21, the first look of the house is out.
Designed by Omung Kumar and Vanita Garuda, the home also has a fantasy theme with unique elements.
Two huge statues guard the entrance, and dragons add a majestic touch. The walls have different faces on each side, adding to the illusionary atmosphere. Locks and keys are a recurring theme throughout the decor.
Inside, the bedroom is designed like a theatre of a fantasy world, encouraging interaction between household members.
The kitchen looks like a quaint vineyard with stone walls and wine barrels. A large bridge connecting the living room and storeroom hangs over a water-print carpet, adding a calming touch.
Talking about the idea and creativity behind the new design of this season, Omung Kumar said, “We wanted the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 house to be incredibly unique and vibrant. As a designer, I believe in the magic of transformation. After the success of last year’s sustainability theme, this season presented a new challenge to create something equally captivating.”
He added, “In line with our theme, we aimed to deliver an experience that has never been seen before. Our design choices, which include keys and locks, gorgeous dragons and two-way walls with different faces, all contribute to the magical atmosphere. The keys and locks are my personal favourites – they represent how the contestants are locked up and have to unlock new aspects of themselves. Each element was carefully chosen to create curiosity and wonder. I am thrilled to see how the contestants will interact with and be inspired by this imaginative space.”
Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off of the immensely popular Bigg Boss franchise, which was first hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar on Voot. However, the reins were later handed over to Bollywood megastar Salman Khan for the second season.
At a recent press conference for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Anil Kapoor spoke about his new role as the host of the show.
Kapoor said, “Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We are both young at heart; people often joke that I am getting old, but Bigg Boss is truly timeless.”
Kapoor also shared details about his conversation with Salman Khan, and highlighted the superstar’s support and excitement over Kapoor’s foray into non-fiction hosting.
“Nobody can replace Salman and nobody can replace Anil Kapoor… Bhai (Salman Khan) is very happy… I have spoken to him… he is very excited and happy to know that I am doing non-fiction,” Kapoor revealed, underlining the mutual admiration between the two actors.
‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ will air on Jio Cinema from June 21.
