New Delhi: Popular Odia singer Human Sagar, who was admitted to hospital in emergency three days ago, breathed his last on Monday evening, reports NDTV. He was 34 years old.
Doctor’s statement on the death of Human Sagar
Shrikant Behera of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, who was treating Human Sagar, said in a media bulletin, “Human Sagar was admitted on November 14 with bilateral pneumonia, acute chronic liver failure (ACLF), dilated cardiomyopathy with severe LV systolic dysfunction, MODS (Multi Organ Dysfunction Syndrome) – refractory shock, severe respiratory failure, anuric acute kidney injury, Was hospitalized with a diagnosis of encephalopathy, hepatopathy.” Thrombocytopenia, coagulopathy did not respond to treatment despite all aggressive and advanced care provided by an expert team of specialist doctors and expired on 17.11.2025 at 9.08 pm.

About Human Sagar
Heumann came from a musical family background. He competed in a reality TV show called ‘Voice of Odisha’ in 2012 and won the show. Her first film was ‘Ishq Tu Hi Tu’, where she sang the title track composed by Abhijeet Majumdar, which proved to be a huge hit. He sang more than 100 songs in Oriya films.
He also made a Hindi album ‘Mera Yeh Jahaan’ and worked on various Odia music albums like ‘Tuma Otha Tale’, ‘Niswasa’, ‘Bekhudi’ and ‘Chehera’ in 2017.
Human Sagar joined politics in 2019 for Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
He married Shriya Mishra, his fellow contestant on the show Voice of Odisha Season 2, in 2017. The couple has a daughter.
