Meanwhile, talking about his latest series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, it boasts of a star cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
The series also stars Taha Shah Badusha, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in the role of nawabs.
Set against the backdrop of India’s independence struggle in the 1940s, the serial depicts the lives of prostitutes and their patrons, and highlights the cultural dynamics of Heera Mandi.
